Osaka Crossrail - Naniwasuji Sen to be opened in 2031

It has been a long issue of JR Osaka Loop Line connecting south central (Tennoji) and north central (Osaka Station, Umekita) is very overloaded, particularly for the Osaka Airport - Osaka / Shin-Osaka Station service.
The same case also happens for Nanakai Mainline, which Namba Terminal is suffering from a lack of terminating platform.

It's kind of good to see the central government and Osaka government managed to fund the project to build a underground line connecting the two bits, to allow the two railway companies to use.

While watching the local news, there are some interesting features, like movable screen doors will be installed:

That moveable platform screen/edge door system looks interesting as it will hopefully solve the problem of varying door spacing arising from different types of rolling stock.

By turning on Closed Captioning and Auto Translate (in English) one can get a machine translation which helps.
