Need to go to Gatwick next week, on 18th July, and will probably catch one of the night trains from St Pancras. I can see on RTT that there are trains showing at XX:32 past the hour, but they appear to be LTP/and are not showing in journey planners - so I assume not running. There appears to be engineering works at Earlswood, but journey planner isn't showing trains. Anyone know what the deal is?

What time do you need to be at Gatwick Airport for (presumably early doors) on Thursday 18th July 2024?

As you say, there does seem to be overnight engineering work affecting the lines through Earlswood and Salfords. Not sure if all four lines are closed or whether you'll have to travel across Central London from London St. Pancras to London Victoria somehow if Thameslink isn't running.

Need to be there for about 0330, so the Victoria option isn't great. Curious to see if this is a VSTP issue, as I assume they'd have been obliged to provide some sort of replacement road transport given those trains always run through the night.

The TL announcement seems to indicate no disruptions to the through running trains

From approximately 22:45 on Monday to Thursday evenings until approximately 05:25 on Tuesday to Friday mornings, no trains will call at Earlswood or Salfords.

Rail replacement buses, operated by Southern, will run between Horley and Redhill to serve these stations.

The full absence is against their own writings

I suspect the trains showing on RTT are running, however the schedules showing are the Q paths and they have not been amended to remove the Q and therefore won't show on journey planners. If you toggle the CAN box you can see the normal paths via Herne Hill have been cancelled leaving just the Q paths via London Bridge (typically these will only run when Herne Hill is blocked).
