Pay with Oyster Card

The TVMs at Harrow & Wealdstone now have an option on the front screen to "Pay with Oyster Card." It's grayed out with a red cross through it. I recall that this was available from London Underground TVM before Pay As You Go was introduced.

The TVMs at Harrow & Wealdstone now have an option on the front screen to "Pay with Oyster Card." It's grayed out with a red cross through it. I recall that this was available from London Underground TVM before Pay As You Go was introduced.

It couldn't have been before Pay As You Go was introduced, since without Pay As You Go there would have been no credit on any Oyster cards to pay with.

Are you sure it is not "Buy new Oyster card"? I have seen the TVMs at Harrow and Wealdstone with a greyed out button saying that!
