Personal Protective Strategies (PPS)

Hi all, I'm trying to collate many various examples of Personal Protective Strategies that drivers use to help prevent them from having incidents (things like pointing to the platform before releasing doors). I think trainee drivers will really benefit from ideas that they may not have necessarily thought of themselves.

I'm really looking for examples of PPS drivers adopt to help prevent:

* wrong side door opening
* releasing doors at a red (in between stations)
* releasing doors when ECS/non stop
* SAS SPAD
* SOY SPAD
* anything else noteworthy

Currently doing my driving hours and just wondering what different protection strategies are used in the cab to aid with concentration and tasks to reduce the risk of mistakes.
