The Direct Rail Services Class 66 (66 301) diesel locomotive will pull us from Edinburgh to Fort William.
The GB Railfreight Class 73 (73 966) diesel locomotive will supply our 4-car long train with electricity.

P.S. A minor point, although Bathgate is the booked route it is not the mainline which is via Falkirk High (Queen St Low Level is also accessible from this route).

I did this trip in 2009. So wonderful boarding in London and waking up running alongside Loch Lomond.
