Thought it might be nice to share some 1960s Rail Tour Programmes . I know how good the Six Bells Junction site is for all the detail and photos of each and every tour , but here are some Rail Tour programmes

I have ended up over the years with plenty of spares so have got them listed on my site - Transport Past Times .

I will try and show the 1970s and 1980s over the next week or so .

Here are a couple from bank holidays in 1962, over a number of now-closed routes:
- Manchester-Scarborough, via the Spen Valley and Harrogate to York
- Manchester-Barmouth, via Altrincham, Mouldsworth-Helsby(reverse), Chester, Wrexham, and then outward via Bala Jn, returning via Machynlleth and Oswestry.
In the same year I also managed a similar excursion from Manchester to Ashbourne via Buxton and Parsley Hay (now the Tissington Trail).
