If its a railport its worse money than being an MSO at FL terminal. Just driving big lifters loading and uploading trains and lorries. Is it donny you've got interview for? Stourton is the best money wise

Cheers for info mate, I could possibly take a drop in wages from what i am doing now but a big pay cut won't be sustainable.

I wasn't sure if there was any other train preparation duties other than loading them and yes it's at Doncaster.

Donny about 24k per year but can do 30k with overtime and the odd Saturday, I worked at Leeds terminal doing the same job but it was 28k but only rostered 35 hour weeks but I extended majority of my 7 hour shifts to 12 hours and was taking home a lot more than most. It is a good job just the driving a 75 ton forklift got my d*ck hard haha

Do you have any idea why there is a difference in pay between the two sites? And do you know if the working week at Donny is 35 hours?

75ton forklift does sound fun haha

I think its a 40 hour week at railport and it's a difference in pay due to railport being different to a terminal at the terminal you have more traffic (workload) and you also operate overhead gantry cranes
Its about 4 or 5 quid per hour pay difference
