Travelling this Saturday can anyone advise on any better splits than the following

Rishton to Kidsgrove stopping short at Crewe (anyone know way this is cheaper and a rishton to crewe ticket given it is valid)
Crewe to Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton to Chelthenham
Cheltenham to Bristol Parkway.

No railcards held, and need to be walk up tickets.

A Rishton-Wolverhampton anytime single appears to be £1.40 less than your combination of tickets for Rishton-Wolverhampton.

For Crewe-Bristol, you could do Crewe-Worcester or Crewe-Bromsgrove on a £24.80 West Midlands Day Ranger, and then Worcester-Bristol Parkway or Bromsgrove-Bristol Parkway is then £12.90 for a single. I think that's a total of £62.70 instead of £75. NB also that having to call at Worcester or Bromsgrove will increase the journey time to around 6 hours unless you take the following itinerary: Rishton 1356 - Preston 1432/1517 - (call Crewe at 1558) - Birmingham New St 1705/1730 - (call Bromsgrove at 1749) - Cheltenham 1816/1825 - Bristol Parkway 1853
