Don't National Rail use project mapping? I also though it said in the corner of them Project Mapping. Must say I do like the maps they do very clear. The Northern Rail ones are awful!

Allied to that - the GB Rail Rover Guide shows potential rangers/rovers applicable to particular stations - though for some reason they've added "{...}" brackets around the names so if using the keyboard you have to type the first "{" as well as the name you want :(

For all those who wish to view the maps for the country's Rovers and Rangers please find below the link I find the layout far more accessible, easier and better than National Rail one

It does not show the price just the map of its validty

www.projectmapping.co.uk/roversandrangers.html
It would be nice if you could do a map of the whole country, but with rover/ranger validity areas highlighted in different colours, so people unfamiliar with which rovers/rangers are available can see at a glance which (if any) they can get. Would this be doable or would it end up looking far too busy/complex?

EDIT: Also, how about highlighting the metrolink city zone (which is valid on the rail-only ranger) in the GMPTE map?

National Rail has some Project Mapping maps on their site. For instance, the All Line Rover validity map is one of theirs.

Looking at the Ffestiniog Round Robin (a useful ticket for this purpose as every attempt to describe its area of validity seems to use a different interpretation), the Project Mapping map seems to be based on the NRE map, rather than the ATW version or the text on either site.

One advantage it does have over the ATW map is that it uses a special colour to distinguish the Ffestiniog Railway from the Network Rail lines. That feels quite useful to me.
