Morning,

Naturally not wanting to contact rstl as I know they can be a nightmare...

I work for a toc and want to get my partner a spouse travel pass but we aren't married, I've got the rstl forms but part of it says the proof of address needs to be within 6 months or the current charging period (if annual) I assume this means I.e car insurance document lasts a year so if its 8 months since it was sent its valid still?

I'm usually quite intelligent but these rstl forms seem to be worded in such a way my brain has melted

Simply reading what you have written, if your current annual motor insurance (or similar) has the correct address then that is fine.

I too have always found RSTL perfectly helpful on the couple of occasions I’ve had need to call. The amount of information on the website is way ahead of forty years ago when you had to work it all out by trial and error.
