Is it me, or is buy one get one half price on Ryanair (or anything) not actually that good value? I think it was the same last year. In 2021, I believe it was buy one get one free, which is a completely different ball game.

Yes, and the fares they're offering for short hops Manchester/Liverpool to Ireland are more expensive than non-sale prices.
