They don't...They already put 'Warning - Contents may be hot!' on the side of the cups anyway!

Although that's almost irrelevant on coffee from McDonalds...

Yeah true. We live in a society where very few accept responsibility for their own actions. No wonder kids commit crimes and try to blame others. Where we try to ban stuff rather than address the cause of the abuse. Sad sad world.

yeah I accepted responsibility for when I burnt myself on the firebox doors of a steamer at the GCRN, I didn't try to sue em! Like the people who are sueing McDonalds because they apparently caused their obeisity :| surely that's not right...

Just a quick question, is that lovely sounding First Class menu available on weekends? It doesn't say it's only weekdays on the website but tradition seems to be to not do meals on a weekend.

Sorry to bump the thread, but to save creating a new one...

Is this available on all weekday EMT services at least, or just certain ones?

e.g. Is breakfast available on the Leeds-St Pancras direct services?

on the 0614 Leeds-St Pancras it looks like full meals are available (source: National network timetable)

Nice, unfortunately, AP fare quotas cause me to just want to use the two later ones ;)

I think the menu's a great improvement on the First Class side of things but the standard menu's just gone up in price. £3.65 for a bacon baguette really is quite expensive considering a pasta dish is £4.95 which in comparison, is quite reasonably priced.

At least on EMT "breakfast trains" you get a decent Bacon Baguette - one off the griddle rather than the microwave.

If anyone travelling Standard wants to try a great 1st class restaurant meal, go by NXEC if you can. All comers welcomed, and the lunch is very reasonably priced for what it is.

I generally agree, we are seeing some decent on train catering these days and not too badly priced on the whole compared to off-train.
