Scarborough to Saltburn

Advise required, anyone help?

Have a couple of days off work early March.
Was looking to go from Scarborough to Saltburn via Whitby & Staithes.

Scarborough Dep 0845 to Whitby Arr 0945

Service 4
Whitby Dep 1202
Staithes Arr 1230

I have some confusion on the next part of my journey, according to printed timetable there are direct/no change buses from Staithes direct to Saltburn, But Arriva's on-line planner is showing a change of vehicle and a wait of 30 mins in Loftus.

Ideally I would like to use the following service,
Staithes Dep 1330
Saltburn Arr 1408

Arriva is recommending,
Staithes Dep 1330
Loftus Arr 1341
Loftus Dep 1412
Saltburn Arr 1435


Can anyone confirm if correct?

I suspect it's a quirk of the journey planner in that it doesn't allow changes of less than 3 or 5 mins and so it throws a fit on journeys that are registered separately for UK domestic regs.

How odd!
The 1341 arrival in Loftus on the 4 continues to Middlesbrough via Saltburn and Redcar as an X4 at 1342.

Should also point out that the X93 is presently on winter timetable and will be until the Easter Weekend. Therefore, the last Whitby to Scarborough journey leaves Whitby at 1845.
