Sorry if this has been asked before, but can anyone tell me what the last diagrammed day-time passenger workings were for Class 47s in Scotland? From memory/a bit of research it looks like there was 47 haulage between Aberdeen and Inverness up until about 1993 but were there any later planned diagrams than this?

Thanks

There was a day-time Inverness-Edinburgh and return as late as September 1993, although it was a Class 37 on the occasion I caught it. IIRC it was diagrammed for a 47.

There was a single Inverness-Edinburgh-Inverness diagram in summer 1995 for about two months as the 158s couldn't provide the capacity for what was the busiest train of the day.

It was booked for a RES 47/7.
