Signalling Support Technician - NR

Hi,

I currently work outside the railway industry and I have recently seen this role advertised at Knottingley near Leeds.

Can anyone please shed any light on what the role entails?

The description was basically assist with technical support to maintenance teams, perform testing work, gather and record test data etc.

I tried to do some research but all I could find was info on signalling maintenance technician and installation technician. Not sure whenever this is the same role but with a different name? Also would this be day based or shifts/weekends?
