SNCF Compulsory Reservations

I am wanting to reserve a seat on train 5955 on Saturday June 25th on the 0858 Paris Bercy to Clermont Ferrand service.

I will have an adult Interrail global pass, is there any way of reserving this online?

can't you ring up raileurope or DB in surbiton, can't see how to do it online

No, I don't believe you can do it online - a real pain. I'm lucky because I have a local travel agent (not in the UK) who can do it without adding a service charge. And SNCF has two-tier pricing on TGV pass reservations now, so it's better to reserve in advance.

Surprisingly, Trenitalia is ahead of the game here - very easy to make pass reservations on-line, and I've never come across a "sold-out" situation.

I have found that Raileurope do an online reservation service which gives u a printout code to collect from a machine. Question is does Bercy have a machine?

I have only used Nord before.

True, but in Italy and France they're compulsory for passholders on most trains (except locals), while in Germany they're optional.
