South Devon Railway photography locations?

Hi all,

Not looking for anyone’s secret spots or anything, I’m heading to the SDR’s winter gala on Saturday and want to get a few photos that aren’t the bog standard from the platforms, and that are accessible from the trains as I’m not driving down,

The field opposite Bishops Bridge loop at Staverton is a few minutes walk from the station. Equally the path along the river which start’s across from the level crossing gives some good views. At Buckfastleigh there is a path from the car park bridge alongside the Otter Sanctuary that offers good views of departures. Totnes Riverside is surrounded by private land to which there is no access from the station.
