Keith has an unnumbered platform referred to as the “Branch platform”. Though it’s very, very rarely used these days.Do other stations on the network have unnumbered platforms?
if you’re asking about Keith branch platform then no, it’s on a passenger line.Isn’t it actually on a goods line? In which case it can’t get used by a standard pax train
Hooton has an unnumbered excursion platform by the entrance (except in the lift where it says "Platform 0").
I seem to remember Preston having an unnumbered former mail platform which has been used for specials to the Open when played at Royal Lytham (more precisely to Ansdell & Fairhaven station).

Platform 7 is numbered but isn't (can't?) be used. The 'golf shuttle' platform is the Royal Mail platform that has been called Platform 0 in the past.Yes, it would be platform 7 but is unused.
No 7 is on th3 short wait car park side. The one used very occasionally is the fomer RES platform opposite existing Platform 1 where North Union House is located along with a short bay on the opposite face at the North End where the old Red Star Office was. The south end has 3 sidings of which 1 has a platform face.Yes, it would be platform 7 but is unused.
I believe Highlandspring was referring to this: https://goo.gl/maps/BtGyahqj9wo. The unnumbered platform is the one that curves east-south (towards Keith Town/Dufftown). Interestingly, Keith Town is shown as a 'national rail' station. Last time I was in the area (a couple of years ago), there was no track between the two stations!Whereabouts is this please? Tried to see it using Google Maps satellite view to no avail.

There are some films which show it ...I've never seen a train standing in platform nine and three-quarters at King's Cross...…….
if passenger services are reinstated on that line then it will become a proper platform.Isn’t it actually on a goods line? In which case it can’t get used by a standard pax train
