Hello,

I've tried to book tickets from London Liverpool Street to Stansted airport via Trainline and found out that with or without my network Railcard the price is the same. Tried a fre other services and it was the case everywhere. After some research I found out you can use it but only if you buy tickets in their ticket office. Talking time and travel costs into consideration it defeats the purpose.

It was possible before but they decided to remove it to stop people from using the discount

Is it possible to complain anywhere?
This feels really unfair. People buy Railcards to get discount without being aware of the catch that you need to spend time and money to get a few pounds off.

Thank you.

What time are you booking for, as the Network Railcard is not valid before 10AM, which is probably why you are seeing the same price on Trainline

Edit: I saw a post, that was then deleted with the OP saying they were travelling at 6AM, that'll be why then

Oh thank you. Yes I'm booking at 6am.

Yes, looks like it was the time. Thank you
