Sugar Loaf is a game I have been creating in my head for the past few weeks, but have only recently been able to write it down. Rather than make a long post, I have added a word document with some details to this post. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to have a look, and possibly give some feedback?

Thanks in advance!

And as for the name...don't ask. It was the first odd station I thought of.

Oh no, sorry if I caused any confusion, but Sugar Loaf isn't the starting station! It is only a (very random) title. I just wanted feedback on the game to see if it was worthwhile.

So I hope you won't mind if I set the starting station at Birmingham New Street? The game can carry on.

Multiple things have gone wrong. I realised this after posting.

A)
I am looking at a Network Rail map (all stations shown:

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/passenger_services/maps/nationalrailnetworkmapZoom.pdf

and I can't see "Camp hill" station, as the first poster stated.
All subsequent posts could be incorrect.

B)
Class 172: how did you get to Northfield? It isn't the next station for any fast or slow train, intermediate stations have been missed.
Therefore all subsequent posts are possibly incorrect.

Since this game is new could we stop, and allow time to sort these teething problems out, before we get too far in?

Yes, I knew the rules were a bit half-baked, that was the reason I was looking for feedback.

*Game Paused until I can sort this out*

Anyone feel free to PM me with feedback or ideas.

I don't see how Northfield is incorrect, it is the next station along from Kings Norton southbound onboard a LM cross-city service.

I apologise, you were correct in following on from the previous poster, who made a mistake.

I was rushing my post and got stations and posters mixed up.

Edit:
I have ideas, I will PM adtrainz after eating :)

After checking the Rail Atlas, I can confirm that AFAIK Camp Hill is a route from N.Street to Kings Norton direct, although I can't find a service that actually uses it in the timetable.

Anyone able to correct me?

Camp Hill has indeed had a varied history behind it:-

1840...Opened as Camp Hill
1841...Closed
1841...Re-opened
1867...Closed
1867...Re-opened as Camp Hill and Balsall Heath
1904...Re-named as Camp Hill
1941...Closed

Is this why you originally mentioned it in the early thread posting?

I agree that it is time for this quiz to be "put to bed" until the rules have been throughly re-examined and re-constituted.

Sugar Loaf also needs changing as the name of the quiz.

It may be advisable to PM a moderator for that.

Yes, I agree, no further posting until the rules are re-examined.
