Tamper on low-loader on M25 this evening

Any ideas? Passed at around 5.30 this evening near Junction 30 heading south. Wondered if it had come from the Clacton worksite?

There was one on the Bluebell . A few weeks back taken there by 2 class 20's . If it was brand new it may be that one it was there on test.

Thanks but it did not look brand new but then as I was driving, I couldn't look at it properly

Unlikely I would have thought, the tamper delivered to the Bluebell three weeks ago was for testing and Balfour Beatty staff training while the one it replaced, at the Bluebell since late october, was taken back to West Ealing
