Technical Documents for UK trains

Hi!

Does anyone know where (or if) I can get hold of any technical documents for UK trains. I am interested in the Class 390 (Alstom Pendolino) in particular. I'd just like a technically detailed document containing information regarding the workings of the train...

You might want to try and contact the Rolling Stock Library. I think they are based in Beeston and used to be part of British Rail. I'm not sure who owns them now but they still exist.

Most stuff is classified as "Not for publication". IE. Not for dissemination to the public or for public use for obvious reasons.

But also for those that have a relevant vehicle it is a welcome source of information.
Would you then be classed as a "Member of the Public?"

You might 'strike gold' if you write to the relevant manufacturer. They can be helpful, but it probably depends on who you get!
