I am trying to find out what brake systems/handles where fitted to original build BR loco's before modification to dual brake systems.
Later class 40's I believe had the same as 14/15/17/later Hymek's (7044-7100) (black cylinder - push down to release) earlier class 40's I believe where the same as DP1 & class 08's (D&M?) can anyone confirm which 40's had which type.
I believe production built Deltic's also had the black cylinder but can anyone confirm the manufacturer of the system. (Westinghouse)? Did 37's also have these?
Also, can anyone confirm which vacuum handles where originally in any of 20/25/26/27/31/33/45&46/47/50?
