TfW Delay Repay for abandoned journey with season ticket

If I start a TfW Delay Repay claim, then when asked choose "No I abandoned my journey", it says:
"As you told us you abandoned your journey and did not travel, you must contact the original ticket retailer for a refund. (Please note this does not apply to holders of season tickets or Multiflex tickets, who can proceed with their delay repay claim as normal). "

Does anyone know what this means?

If I have a season ticket and decide not to travel because my train is cancelled, can I then legitimately put in a Delay Repay claim? And if so, what would I put in as the delay?

If you decide not to travel, e.g. because your train is cancelled, then with most tickets you should claim a refund of your ticket from whoever you bought it from - you cannot claim that you were say 2 hours late if you didn't travel. Different arrangements apply for season and multiflex ticket holders - you have been denied part of the service you paid for, but you obviously cannot claim back the whole cost of a 12 month season ticket just because one train was cancelled.

Right.

And the "different arrangements" appear to be that I should apply through Delay Repay.

And as you say, normally one shouldn't claim a delay if not travelling.
Hence my question - what do I claim for?
It says "proceed....as normal". But "normal" would be not to proceed at all with a delay repay claim if I didn't travel...
