Afternoon all,

Just a quick nit picking question as I can't find anything definitive online...

Does anyone on here have a list of the ex Greater Manchester Fleetlines bought and ran by Thamesdown Transport?

The South West Buses handbook produced by Capital Transport in 1993 notes 14 Northern Counties bodied vehicles, numbered 206-219 by Thamesdown, purchased in 1988 and 1989. I have not been able to find reference to any additional vehicles.

They were formerly Greater Manchester's 6916, 6917, 8014, 8030, 8006, 8019, 8066, 8083, 8032, 6927, 8059, 8089, 6939 and 6940 respectively. 6916, 6917, 6927, 6939 and 6940 originated with Lancashire United Transport as their 500, 501, 511, 523 and 524.

Whilst looking for something else I came across a 1998 copy of The South West Bus Handbook, published by British Bus Publishing, which refers to another batch that Thamesdown bought in 1996.

They were originally 8020, 8021, 8098, 8037, 8024 and 8041 respectively but for an unknown reason Manchester renumbered them into the 4xxx series by 1993.
