With the impending withdrawal of Class 319s from Thameslink, does anyone have their current diagrams? I'd like to get a last few but don't really want to go too far out of my way for one!

Thanks

Try the 06:38 St.Albans - Sevenoaks service, a whole four cars of 319 to squeeze into for the morning peak.

Also, are there any 319s still left on fast services (non-stop St Albans to West Hampstead or further)?

A very busy service north of St Pancras ......crushed this evening ..

The following 12 car 700 (1648 ex St P) was positively spacious, only about 300 people standing.

Re the 319s, they are mostly concentrated on the Sutton loop services, doing approx 70% of them.

I keep thinking - this is the last time I will ride a 319 , but they are still very much on the Sutton loop services.

What's it called? It's called Cumbernauld
I'm not sure if there are Class 319s that still operate on the Blackfriars - Sevenoaks via Catford and Swanley route.

Back in March/April, I worked out that there were 5 diagrams for the standard 30 minute frequency. As I do not venture south of the mighty Thames very often, perhaps somebody local could confirm if that is still the case?

2V51 11:14 Luton to Sutton is still a 319 for the time being. Will this however become a 700 after the May timetable change??

I'll keep on riding this diagram until the 319's are gone.

Saw a few pairs around today on my journey north of St Pancras, but with the core shut for engineering work I'm not sure how that reflects a normal Saturday.

I took a sad and nostalgic trip around the Wall of Death one day last week (had builders in and the house was a cacophony of drilling and hammering) - so had to get out - scored a 319 of course for the brutal 1 in 37 climb.

Anyway - I counted 9x8 cars 319 in service on this Odyssey. Plenty around. (still)

One huge benefit of the 700's - and there are many - will be the automated PA before station calls - on dark winter evenings on a stopping service - you had to keep your wits about you - or at least those alighting at intermediate stations north of St Pancras to St Albans did - over the years seen a good few overcarried , sometimes with pungent exclamations.
