The One One collection going to have a day a open weekend on the 9th-10th August 2025.

This is your chance to see 4SUB 4732 in the flesh for the first time since 2019, as well as other exhibits including a Eurostar, 6100 Royal Scott, Lner Beavertail 1729 in its original form and many more exhibits.

For me it's definitely interesting enough, however, from a steam enthusiast's point of view, the main attraction, 4464 Bittern, has left, though fortunately for an overhaul. The other locos are good in there, but the static locos besides the Hall class are basically an example of everything that has come down Kent rails for the last 5 years. If they get a Merchant Navy to visit, it's basically a full bingo sheet.

For £25, the items on display should reflect that price. What would sell this event to me is that there is confidence that some of the Steam loco footplates are at the very least visitable, especially as they are cold, and that there is a variety of exhibits of interest and stands selling other things than OO gauge such as, for example, railwayana.

It might be an event to consider if there is steam bans down here by August if there is no effective amounts of rain soon.
