Parcel for Julian Assange is geo-tracked by artists

Two Swiss artists have used GPS tracking and live webcam to follow the progress of a parcel intended to reach Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.

Domagoj Smoljo and Carmen Weisskopf have posted updates on the parcel's progress online.

I have one question about this - Why?

The mind boggles!

Indeed, better time could be spent hacking his and/or Wikileaks private e-mail and distribute it's content amongst public domain and see how long before he kicks up a fuss.

Alternatively it could have been an attempt to what, if any, censorship or tampering of the package would take place by the various authorities.

The internet (or the more vocal parts at least) is generally in favour of Assange and WikiLeaks (whether that's right or wrong is for another topic of course)

I considered that afterwards and to me seems a likely explanation.

Indeed - I do think he should have to answer for the rape allegations regardless of the rights or wrongs of wikileaks

And he agrees with that. The problem is that Sweden has not absolutely guaranteed that he won't be deported to America where he almost certainly won't get a fair trial for Wikileaks.
