Trainspotting TV Series

Hi,

Does anyone know which episode of Trainspotting presented by Mark Collins and mark Found features the trip to the Kyle of Lochalsh? I'm sure Mark Found takes the overnight train. I have kept an eye out on Sky but they seem to show every other episode except this one. I know it's an old show but it was aired on Discovery Shed last year I think.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, i remember this episode, must have it on VHS somewhere. It was Mark Collins who travelled on the overnight sleeper to Inverness, then on to Kyle

You are spot on. He went on the overnight sleeper to Inverness , then on to Kyle.

If you happen to find it, can I buy a copy from you or can you upload it to YouTube?

Micheal Palin's Great Railway Journey to the Kyle of Lochalsh that he did for the BBC in 1980 is one of my favourite documentaries of all time. It was interesting to see what Kyle looked like after all those years.

I have actually just bought a new DVD/VHS recorder and i am in the process of transfering old VHS tapes i have to DVD. I will be doing Trainspotting in the next few weeks, so when i come across that episode i'll let you know and i'll send you a copy. No need to pay for it, just send us a stamp or something. Keep an eye on this thread and i'll get back to you ina couple of weeks.

Found the episode you want and it looks as though it's still in good nick despite it being on VHS.

Let me know where you want it sent and i'll transfer it to DVD and pop it into the post.
