Is it possible to transfer a picture file from a Blackberry to an iphone via bluetooth (or indeed any other method)? I believe that some of the connectivity features have been disabled on our work phones. :(

Secondly, our Blackberries' will soon (hopefully) be replaced with smartphones so is it possible to transfer your contact list across from phone to phone? Transferring the "sim contacts" doesn't cut it as the sim seemingly doesn't cope well with multiple numbers & info for one contact.

Cheers.

Nowhere near enough to a Pacer :(
Cant help with the contacts, but if you plug your Blackberry into your desktop or Laptop with a USB cable it will encourage you to download Blackberry Softwear, free! You can then pull a number of things from the device.

Do you have a Gmail account where you can back up your contacts and such on the Blackerry first of all, and then use the Gmail account on the smartphone to get the contacts back?

Synching with Outlook or similar is usually the advised method, though it often isn't practical. Getting them back to the smartphone can be a challenge too. If you end up with an Apple device, good luck as I've never found a way to transfer contacts between accounts or phone (unlike calendar entries which are a doddle)
