I saw it was put on Skylink from the 9. Not the weirdest of allocations today, however trentbarton Solar 669 was at Derby today on the Mickleover service. Versa 827 has returned and also joined it.

Harlequin Solo SR 494 seems to have made an appearance on the Comet this afternoon. 2/3 of the branded Volvos were out for most of the day, with mango spare 712 filling in for 748.

Interesting, it seems 669 is being passed around the depots recently being used by Langley Mill on the rainbow one the other day. Someone on bustimes seems to be claiming 471 is tracking as 827
Is it known why they switched Volvo 712 for Solo SR 494?
471 being transfered is always possible. Notts+Derby will have less work this week with it being half term so that might be why. 669 is probably not as needed at Nottingham so that could be why its going all over

I spotted it leaving St. Margaret's out of service this afternoon.
I saw 669 working into Derby down Uttoxeter New Road yesterday (Thursday) with a decent load but it wasn't showing what service it was on, just Trenntbarton on the destination screen.
Still, it was good to see this 19 year old stalwart doing good work again!

Noted Mickleover Enviro 200MMC 102 back in Derby, presume fitted with a new engine... Scania /Wright 669 came in on Indigo.

The bus is branded for the Comet route (Derby to Chesterfield) and these buses are based at Derby, not Langley Mill

The new ADLs have been posted today, minus a villager one.
The Mickleover seems to have reverted to the previous colours (excels & Volvos) rather than the bright pink, with Ilkeston flyer & H1 keeping the same colour schemes
I do hope the villager ADLs have the same style as ‘740’ with the wildlife circle, it would sit nice on an ADL.

Anyone know when volvo 744 is returning from getting a new livery and refurbishment?
I really like that livery and I think it would suit it quite well. They might have a different variation on each which I think would look really cool too.

That would be good. I did like the Scania's where they were all different with the animals.
Looking at bustimes, Versa 816 seems to be tracking on the mickleover.

Maybe prospective passengers see Mango as the name of a different bus company. I can see the brighter red generic livery replacing the darker red livery. There does also seem to be increased use of branded buses on other branded routes too.

I think that all the forthcoming Enviros are the same length.. I was fully expecting refurbished ex Threes route 12 plated Optare Versas to replace many of the Optare Solos, which are getting close to life expired (design life 14 years).

From a picture i have seen and been told all 5 Villager MMCs are out the back ready for Vinyls but obvoiusly what can be told and what is happening are sometimes 2 different things!
I did get sent a photo of one of the spare liveried MMCs in the paint shop and it definatly looked like to be being painted into mango livery.
On that day 712 had run out of coolant on its second to last run back. So 494 was brought out to quickly replace it and once the coolant was topped up 712 went on swifts as 717 decided to die on the fuel lane at Meadow Road.
And yes 471 was tracking as 827 as its still having a issue with having low power.

Your comment about one of the new Enviro 200MMCs being in Mango livery, makes sense. I was told there was six orders. The four branded services, then red spares (at least two) and Mango spares would match that.

Shame to see the Wrights will be leaving The Villager routes, I always quite liked them, I'll have to have one last ride I guess.
