In 2014 I saw my penultimate Victoria Line tube 11001/02. On my infrequent trips to London I arrive at Euston and tend to use the Victoria Line for my onward journeys and always look out without success for 11003/04. That is until yesterday- I boarded the 1346 Stratford to Meridian Water intending to alight at Tottenham Hale. However as I had never been to Meridian Water (I did not even know where it was) and the PIS was showing two stops further I decided to stay on. Having lived in Ednonton many years ago and used Northumberland Park on many occasions I knew the line would run past the Victoria Line Depot at Northumberland Park. As we passed there was 11003/04 split in half outside one of the sheds. So I finally cleared the Victoria line stock travelled on a piece of new track from Tottenham Hale and visited a new Station. All because it was raining at Stratford.
