Having used this app for the first time I was perturbed to see that the travel itinerary did not match the tickets! However the tickets were anytime so presume the itinerary is “suggested” only, is this an app using a provider of all the data? Rather than VT building their own core system & therefore that provider is the one holding industry accreditation? I would expect to see accreditation displayed as a symbol somewhere on the app.

Unsure whether to use VTT again! Back to Train company apps next time.

I’m a bit unsure what the issue is? You don’t have to change at the location the ticket is split, the train just needs to make a passenger call. As far as I can see the tickets are perfectly valid for the itinerary.

I mean you quite clearly bought split tickets, based on the logo in the confirmation email, and this also would have been explained multiple times during the purchase flow...

VTT use Silverrail for their journey planning and fulfilment provider, I believe. Not sure if the splits are Silverrail's thing or VTT's.

Both the VT front end and the journey planner are required to be accredited, I believe. Silverrail certainly provide the journey planner for more than one website.

There is nothing that is required to be displayed to confirm this, but access to the industry data would not be permitted to an unaccredited retailer.
