Yesterday I bought an e-ticket from the TfW web site, using my debit card details stored on their site.
Having checked my bank statement today, the debit has been made by "SRT Virgin Trains Bicester Ti"
So does this mean TfW is using some derivative of Virgin Trains for their e-ticket fulfillment?
Everything else about the transaction, including the email confirmation and the PDF ticket itself, is pure TfW, no mention of Virgin Trains anywhere.

Something to do with the SilverRail Technologies UK Ltd ticket booking company, which is based in Bicester?

I use the TfW website; transactions appear on American Express statements as SILVERRAIL TECHNOLOGIES BICESTER

The Silverail web site makes no mention of Virgin except to list Virgin Trains Ticketing as a partner of some kind.
TfW isn't mentioned either, although other TOCs are in there including LNER for their split-ticketing application.
e-ticketing fulfilment is mentioned as one of the solutions they offer.

SilverRail, the B2B travel technology company that empowers rail operators and travel agencies to transform how they serve customers and run their businesses, is delighted to extend its partnership with Virgin Red by supporting Virgin Trains Ticketing with their new mobile app that allows any traveller to book UK train tickets from any provider across the National Rail network.

But I don't understand how this links to TfW.
You'd think they would have their own solution, or shared with other TOCs, if e-ticketing is to become the norm.

It sounds like Silverrail supply the TfW website, and have used the same payment processing portal as they for the Virgin Trains website.
