I was just wondering if anyone knew whether Virgin have relettered the coaches on their SuperVoyagers since the shop was moved?

I've been on two or three since it was done with one re-lettered and the other two not.

If they have are they have been re-lettered do they read as below:

A-First Class
B-Shop/extended First Class
C-Standard
D-Standard
E-Quiet Zone

Or are they in a different order?

Cheers.

Thanks for that, also just wondered if anyone knew if on a Saturday Virgin replace some SuperVoyagers with Pendolinos on the Birmingham-Edinburgh/Glasgow route?

If so any idea of which services?

Virgin Trains doesn't usually run Pendolino's vice Super Voyager at weekends, apart from when the High Wycombe diversionary Super Voyager shuttles are in operation.

When this happens, most, if not all services which run solely between Birmingham and Scotland are formed of Pendolino's, but I stress that I don't think Pendolino's run when the Super Voyager's aren't being used for the High Wycombe shuttle.

I hope this helps :) .

Edit/add-on: I've just noticed MCR247's earlier link to the Virgin Trains seating plan for both Super Voyagers and Pendolino's.

I think there maybe an error on the Super Voyager plan, in regard to 4 and 5-carriage letters.
I'm 99% sure that the 4-carriage sets are formed A-C-D-E , with B being omitted, against the seating plan, which states that coach C is the one which is missed out.

I once travelled in a big group on a 4-car Super Voyager, with reservations in coach C, which definately existed, sandwiched between coaches A and D.
