Voyager spotted in Manchester Oxford Road?

A Avanti West Coast Voyager passed through Manchester Oxford Rd as ECS about 35 mins ago. Does anyone know the reason for this - seems to be a short term planning movement? A very rare sight!

Can't see anything on Realtime trains so is definitely a diversion or something very short term planned.
Which way was it going?

I suspect there is an issue via Warrington. The TrackIt! link shows timings on the diversion and the original route interspersed.

I think it was definitely 5P51 Crewe to Preston being diverted via Manchester. Railcam has it passing Stockport at 09:44 and Piccadilly at 09:56.
