A Avanti West Coast Voyager passed through Manchester Oxford Rd as ECS about 35 mins ago. Does anyone know the reason for this - seems to be a short term planning movement? A very rare sight!

Can't see anything on Realtime trains so is definitely a diversion or something very short term planned.
Which way was it going?

It is probably this, diverted away from the normal route via Warrington Bank Quay

Unlikely considering its using sprinter timings and not running early.

Guess traksy isn't showing lots of trains accurately, not that used to it yet so guess I can't trust the train listings.

I think it was definitely 5P51 Crewe to Preston being diverted via Manchester. Railcam has it passing Stockport at 09:44 and Piccadilly at 09:56.
