Edwards coaches have put a statement out in local media and on Facebook this afternoon saying they are cutting bus services abd reducing others because of reduced demand and by the looks of it the Welsh government will not have any more funding from the end if march.
Service 90 Gwaunmeiskin to Pontypridd is withdrawn completely.
Service 100 Talbot Green to Pontypridd reduced to run every 30 minutes instead of every 20 minutes with the last bus if the day currently being withdrawn Monday to Thursdays.
Service 400 Gwaunmeiskin to Cardiff cut to run hourly 100-1400 on weekdays and all days on Saturday.
Last trip to Cardiff abd back currently will only run Friday and Saturday nights and the 1st bus at the moment scrapped on Saturday mornings.
Hasn't gone down well although Edwards have been pretty straight to the point in their press release.
I can see other firms following suit especially when funding for agency staff is withdtawn
