It seems both the Trent Valley and Birmingham routes are blocked, could be a long afternoon

Both routes at the same time
Is there even any other way of diverting around this?

Pretty chaotic scenes at Rugby, had my earlier train cancelled due to line blocked at Daventry. Nothing really going anywhere quickly

Then I dare say somebody would jump in and point out that the drivers don't sign the route, and/or the trains aren't cleared for the route <D
I think Voyagers have diverted that way before so some drivers must sign it. Not sure if they still do though.

This will be a blow to those saying reopen the inland diversion away from Dawlish. It turns out that having a diversion doesn't help! And a problem on a secondary diversion too. One of those days

Was causing issues further south too - I was looking to catch a train into London around 1pm but with everything southbound from my station generically "Delayed" (even the MKC stoppers) I turned around and went home again.
