I just caught the end of a piece on the local TV news about one of the arches sinking and that the situation is being monitored. Has anyone on the forum any more news in detail of the problem.

It is interesting to note that only one of the arches is affected. I was quite interested to read of the measures proposed to deal with the problem. The river Calder is quite wide as it flows through that area which may have something to do with the softness of certain parts of the ground substrate.
