What does the status of the Elizabeth line during tube strikes tell us?

So, I see that the Elizabeth line is not affected by tube strikes. Is this definitive proof it's not part of the tube and TFL are being disingenuous re tickets? I.e. needing tube validity to use the core

No, it's definitive proof that EL train crew are with a different employer: and I don't see that who operates a service follows through to what type of service it is. See also London buses - multiple operators thereof under contract to TfL.
