what is Application under consideration for assessment 2 mean networkrail application

Ive applied for a welding job with networkrail....
and i have had these replies
Application Under Review
Application Accepted
Application Under Consideration
Invited to Test

i then completed 2 online tests and got this reply
Test Completed

now i have this on my status and i would like to know what it means
Application under consideration for assessment 2

"Application Under Consideration to Assessment 2" basically means that your application has landed on the desk of the recruiting manager and will be considered for interview (Assessment 2.)

Keep your eye on it, it will either change to "Invite to Assessment 2 pending" which means you will get a call within a week or two of the status changing with an interview date or it will go to "Unsuccessful". Usually if you get to the under consideration stage for Interview things are looking promising.

Pretty much what was said above-recruiting manager makes a decision and HR will call if you are on to the interview stage.

I've applied for a signal maintenance job with network rail and received the same messages. I was wondering what assessment 2 entails? Is it purely just an interview with manager's or is there various test's you need to take before you get an interview?
