What would of Stagecoach looked like if it was under National Express?

I have been wondering this for a while. What would the Stagecoach Network look like IF National Express took them over. To be honest, I wish they were taken over by them as the new owners of Stagecoach seems a bit sketchy.
But would it look like? What would happen to NXWM, would it become Stagecoach West Midlands?

All buses would have been painted sky blue pink with yellow dots on...

In other words, we don't know, will never know. It's now a hypothetical situation. Anything that might have happened would be a complete guess, on our parts. National Express may have had a complete detailed plan for all we know. But whether they would have actually implemented it is a whole other matter. What companies say before a takeover, and what they do after, can be very different.

Basically, we will never know.

I reckon buses would have traded under the name National Stagecoach, both for Stagecoach (across the country) and National Express West Midlands / Coventry.

This would have provided continuity for passengers on either operations. Furthermore, it would have let passengers in traditional Stagecoach areas know that the same company would be behind National Express coaches.

Eh? Changing the name doesn’t give continuity. And why would it be important to know Stagecoach run NatEx?

We will never know but most simply, it would’ve been the adoption of Stagecoach branding for the West Midlands, and retention of NX for the coaches.

I think we might have seen some of their longer distance into urban roots either. Rebranded as nx connect or indeed absorbed more into the National Express portfolio as a whole.
Really? I'm struggling to think of too many Stagecoach routes that are true expresses and aren't other a function of local bus services. There's the SW Falcon.... the X5 in Beds/Bucks, and it wasn't like that became part of Megabus.

I reckon there would have been a new livery for the combined bus operations and possibly a new name.... one of those marketing company derived things like Modus or Travellista, although the National Express name would most likely have remained for the coach network
