Hi all,

My friend is traveling from Winsford to Thirsk soon and was wondering what routes are permitted for an Off-Peak Single? The only one I know of is via Manchester.

Thanks in advance

I'll get you started :)

The RG is here:-

http://www.atoc.org/about-atoc/rail-settlement-plan/routeing-guide

First identify appropriate routeing points (RPs) here:-

http://www.atoc.org/clientfiles/File/RSPDocuments/routeing_point_identifier.pdf

Winsford is associated with Crewe, Runcorn Gp, Warrington Gp.

Thirsk is associated with Darlington, Middlesbrough Gp and York.

To see how to determine which RPs are appropriate, follow the guide on page F4 here:-
http://www.atoc.org/clientfiles/File/RSPDocuments/nrg_detail.pdf

If you get stuck on a particular bit, post here and we'll try to help :)

Winsford to Crewe
Crewe to Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport to Thirsk

Easiest way and typically under four hours.
