Hi, i was given Witness Statement MG11 notice last night I was told to be expecting a letter from southeastern I boarded a train from gravesend to Gillingham I didn’t pay for full fare because i didn’t have a enough money in my account so i showed the officer the evidence of my half journey, though I’m in full regret of my actions and I’m devastated at the moment because I don’t know if I will be charged to court

Can you be clearer about what help you are asking for? eg Are you wanting to know what will happen next?

Did you give them a correct name and postal address? If so they will write to you about this and it is vital you get that letter and respond to it (advice on here will give you an idea on how to respond) - that will help - but can not 100% guarantee - prevent it going to court.

Have you done this before? You ned to be aware that they will almost certainly check things like on line ticket buying records to look for suspicious purchasing records, as it is unusual for people who do not pay the correct fare to be caught on the first occasion they dodge a fare.

Yes I did I gave them my right info and have not done this before ..so I don’t know what will be the actual outcome of it

You should wait to receive a letter from them, then head back here for advice on how to respond to it, basically.

The letters generally threaten court action but usually give you an opportunity to explain 'your side of the story'. This is your opportunity to ask if they will be kind enough to consider allowing you to settle the matter without court action and thus avoid being prosecuted for not having a valid ticket for your journey.
