A quick update for anyone planning to head to Poland to travel on the steam workings between Wolstzyn and Zbasynek/Poznan. Seems they haven't returned due to invalidation of the tender for operation. I found this out when in the country last week.

In connection with the invalidation of the tender for the operation of passenger steam traction by Koleje Wielkopolskie - the Wolsztyn Steam Locomotive Depot informs that in February and March it will organize tourist trips. Details soon.

The scheduled traffic is carried out by railbuses. There are still no details regarding the return of steam traction to service scheduled connections from Wolsztyn to Zbąszynek and Poznań and those that are to appear as replacements for tourist connections.
