    Decarbonising Scotland’s Railways

I believe construction work at Currie is complete, and works are underway at Portobello (insofar as that a works compound has been established). Devegetation west of the existing FS/TSC seems to have been done at Newton.

    Landslips

Don't believe this made it into the public eye, but the Old Dalby Test Track was also affected by a landslip. Civils works are ongoing and OLE replacement in the affected spans is also planned.

AIUI, via Colton Jn & Church Fenton. Both Micklefield and Church Fenton are expected to get new TSCs too, as previously discussed. 1714570671 https://www.newcivilengineer.com/latest/cowi-signed-to-design-tunnelling-works-on-victorian-tunnels-as-part-of-transpennine-route-upgrade-01-05-2024/ Cowi...

Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

They have indeed started piling! A sporadic amount was done over Xmas 2023 while the line was shut, ostensibly for the Barkston Ash bridge replacement which ultimately got canned due to the high winds at the time. Piles begin SW of Barkston Ash bridge and continue SW towards Huddlestone Grange...

    ECML Power Supply Upgrade

Having been practically on site (a byway skirts the edge of the compound and is bisected by the haul road to the brick building), it's nigh on impossible to get a crane pad or those low-level apparatuses used at other sites into position. Lord knows how they'll manage it at Aycliffe...

    MML Electrification: progress updates

That remains to be seem AFAIK. I'm sure it has catered for remodelling in the Leicester area, but what the remodelling entails, none of us on here are sure.

I'm almost certain a good number between Syston & Trent Jns were previously rebuilt.

    DB class 90 updates

I believe so. WNXX reports that 90033 was stored April 2005, and 90030 was stored January 2006, so it's entirely realistic that these 2 locos have spent approx half their lives in store.

Northumberland Line to be re-opened to passengers

Can confirm that the purpose of said drivers' walkway is for maintenance trains (think tampers, test trains, RHTTs etc.) which are otherwise too long to fit in the bay. From what I can tell, only 950001 and an MPV would likely be able to squeeze in.
