The limit of electrification is Bromley Street Junction 29 chains (658 yards) from Manchester Victoria datum point.

Electrification only going as far as Bromley Street Junction, which is only 29 chains from Manchester Victoria, so we are talking about 638 YARDS max. I think this is about the third time NR have announced the electrification being complete so far!!!

Manchester North SB became part of Manchester Picadilly PSB it's functionality is now scheduled to be transferred to Manchester ROC along with the other Manchester Victoria to Stalybridge line signalling in 2019.

I thought the extension lead from Heyrod(Stalybridge) needs to be in place running to Ordsall Lane before any EMU running could take place. Any sighting of that work starting yet? Last week it looked like most of the trunking was in place, but still gaps on the viaduct into Victoria.
