Yes for those asking how much a average member has lost for most my colleagues especially those like myself who don’t do too much overtime I’ve actually gained more money as for every strike day lost I did a rest day work which pays a lot more , plus fair few strike days where at weekends so...

Questions regarding timetabling, pathing and track capacity into London Paddington

My train this morning the 07.54 from slough to Paddington used the dive under, was the first time I've been on a train that's used it.

    Under/Over-Served areas in the network.

When crossrail is fully operational Iver is intended to have 9 car 345s, 4tph stopping all day. Also sunnymeads and wraysbury have 2tph service all day to and from Waterloo and Clapham junction, I know we have discussed the reasoning why, you in great length on this forum but like the fact...

Any updates regarding the return of on-board catering and reopening of lounges at stations?

They will not be handing out any items free for first class. There calling it “off board catering “ LNER will be having a few on board hosts operating trolleys on and around LNER managed stations. Selling a limited selection off the trolley menu. So York, Newcastle etc , but not at stations such...

Enforcement of the new rules on social distancing, unnecessary journeys etc.

Unfortunately, the advice for your daughter would be to remain in Brixton. Public transport would definitely not be a option. If you where to be stopped by the police, then you would be turned back towards home. Plus if anything where to happen on your journey to and from London such as a break...

    Lack of platform seating

There is plenty of seating on the Thameslink at St Pancras and at other stations on the core. I believe Euston station has just had or is just having lots of new seats installed.

Abellio Greater Anglia Class 755s (Regional Trains)

Would be good to see them trilled on the Southminster branch. I understand the Branch has been discussed many times before on here. My money is on class 365s on the Southminster branch. However we will wait and see, as my guess, is just that. [TD1]

Why are Class 365s so popular?

With regards to the aubergine fronts, ive seen a few of these working kings cross to Peterborough services. I didn’t catch the train numbers but there’s a few of these about. They have full great Northern branding and the aubergine that you refer to is the same colour as the “sash “on the Great...

Government announces independent review into HS2 programme

I would definitely terminate the service at old oak common. Crossrail’s 24tph 9 car service could cope. (A Ten car 30tph Crossrail is a possibility in the future) There would also be plenty of people using the old oak common to change for services to the West, reading and onto Heathrow. The...

Trivia: largest station (by platform count) with no bay platforms.

Platform 1 is used by terminating London Overground trains form Stratford. It’s a bay platform.

Class 707 - SWT: Introduction into service

My guess with the 2+1 seating is its near the wheelchair bay and its also deliberate. As those coaches in my observations seem to be the most crush loaded, as many of the station entrances are in the middle of the platform. So more standing room would be required. I’m guessing it also helps...
