I think so, looking by the livery with the lighter colour at the front but I could be wrong.

I believe the Stevenage funds got diverted to UNO instead

    Faulty Vehicles Leaving Garage

I had the opposite problem once with a Leyland National that wouldn't switch off. Previous driver brought it back in to the depot ready for me to take out and reported the issue. Wouldn't turn off at the key, or the emergency engine stop. An engineer crawling underneath finally managed to do...

Bus Seats — When Did They Change?

First time I saw individual seats was the K reg Spectra's that London Buses had, looked very different and modern at the time. The first vehicles we had with individual seats at Sovereign were M reg Volvo B10B's, nice comfy padded ones too. The N reg ones were also individual but less padding...

National Express Group to be renamed "Mobico Group"

one question......why? Always thought National Express was a good brand name, and enough time must have passed from their failed rail operations for that to be forgotten to the general public

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

Does anyone know where Arriva's Stevenage depot is these days? Last I knew the Arriva Garage was at Norton Green and Sovereign were up at Babbage Road. I read somewhere Sovereign moved out of Babbage Road before sale but not sure that's true. I know Arriva operated from both locations for some...

Knowing how solid the B10BLE's are built, that looks like it must have been a pretty nasty impact. Wishing the driver a speedy recovery and so glad to read it happened after the school kids were dropped off.

Yep, what Red Onion said with the helpful picture. They also had blue seats which I have used too.

    Lego Buses

Hi Everyone I thought I'd share with you my design for a Lego Leyland National finished in London Transport red. It's 6 studs wide, seats for 8 minifig passengers plus a driver, luggage rack, detailed cab area, visible engine at rear. Comments and suggestions welcome, it would cost approx £40...

Buses left unattended with the doors wide open?

We used to run a late evening contract to take home factory workers using a Mercedes 709D, meant you could leave the depot around 6pm, take the bus home for a few hours before heading to the factory for 10pm. Which ever driver took it home always used to come back and find the doors open until...

    Hertfordshire bus news

Back in Sovereign days in the mid-late 90's the 20x routes were operated by one driver all week with one vehicle. I'm pretty sure the driver took the vehicle home some evenings instead of keep travelling back to North Mymms, wonder if Centrebus have a suitably positioned driver who will do...

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

I've just been thinking about what has happened to the former Sovereign operations in Stevenage since Arriva took over in 2004 44 - Contract lost to another operator 300/1 - Split into 300/1/2, about to be changed again losing the 300 315 - lost to another operator 383/4 - lost to another...

    TRIVIA: Under-rated buses

I'll second you on the Lynx, they were great, such a step forward on from the National, they were quick, drove and rode well and gave a good ride.

    Arriva Buses (including Greenline)

Not surprising really, I work in Hemel and used to see the 758 coaches all the time, now barely at all, always gave the impression the service level has dropped from what it was. In other news, Stevenage have painted one of their Streetlites in heritage Super Bus livery....not that the SB...

I'm not sure about the B7's but I know the B10B's and B10BLE's used to have nice big obvious 'Start' buttons on the dashboard.

I reckon those Mercedes Sprinter minibuses they can't find a home for will be big enough for the 324.

I spotted the grey vehicles on twitter either. Seem like they will use prive of the north livered Versa's/B7's from Idle

Also if you have just one vehicle at Starbeck, if that becomes unavailable you would need to either allocate another spare there or use a Harrogate livered vehicle. Not the end of the world I know but more likely to have a correct livered vehicle if all at one depot.
