Im still in a talent pool for trainee driver for exeter st davids (have been for 3 years or so now) so am surprised they are having another recruitment drive for there. Anyone got any inside info on what might be happening at exeter?

Same for me jacey but for the exeter pool. Just gotta sit tight, be patient and hope that call comes. There is a lot of conflicting reports on here, some saying no recruitment, some saying there will be recruitment etc. Who knows??? Im just thinking that im sure GWR will need to recruit at some...

Just seen they are recruiting for a qualified driver talent pool at both exeter st davids and plymouth. I think this is positive news for us sat in exisiting trainiee talent pools as it shows the demand for drivers is still strong. Would appreciate others views.......

Thats good news! Im in the 20/21 pool for st davids. I dont have anything on my portal any more as its been over 12 months, but have emailed first group who have said im still in the pool. Do you know if they mix talent pools? I.E, say they were looking to take on 12 people for training but...

I think i emailed [email protected]. Not sure when training is to resume to be honest. I know railway recruitment can take ages under normal circumstances, so when you throw covid into the mix its only going to increase the time. Im just gonna sit tight and hopefully the call will come...

I was put in the exeter pool in feb last year as well! So we are looking at the same kind of timescales then!
